J.J. Jensen has two degrees (Media Arts and Computer Information Systems) from James Madison University (Harrisonburg, VA).  Upon graduation he moved to Washington, DC, where he started Trilogy Records and Promotions, an independent label and promotions company.  After spending two years in Washington, J.J. relocatd his companies to New York City, and joined forces with Lee L'Heureux to form Foundation Media.  Since moving to New York, he has seen his companies grow exponentially.  He has secured worldwide distribution for Trilogy Records and has booked shows for Trilogy's flagship artist Doujah Raze all over the world, including tours of the United States, Canada, and Europe.  He also helped spearhead Foundation Productions, a production company focused around Germany's top hip hop producer Shuko, and Foundation Digital, a boutique digital distributor specializing in urban music.

Lee L'Heureux has a degree in Economics from Colby College (Waterville, Maine).  Beginning with his radio show on Colby College's WMHB and in 2002 moving to Music Director at commercial radio WRED Lee has been deeply involved in all aspects of radio.  In addition to radio, Lee's independent promotion operation combined forces with J.J. Jensen to form Foundation Media which is at the forefront for breaking new music through grassroots means.  Lee has coordinated many of the corporate Foundation projects including past clients like NAPA Auto Parts and in conjunction with J.J. Jensen launched Foundation Digital in 2007.  Recently, Lee left radio and works with Asylum Records in the Warner Music Group traveling the country and running the Rhythm Radio Promotions Department.
